DENVER — Temperatures are forecast to drop into the single digits overnight in Denver again.
That will cause snow-packed roads to turn icy overnight.
Most of the main roads will be in good shape for your Tuesday morning drive. We’ll have plenty of sunshine and highs could reach the upper 30s which will help to melt some of the snow of the secondary roads.
Snow and cold returns
But by Wednesday, more snow and cold returns. We expect snow to develop around the lunch hour on Wednesday.
Temperatures will turn sharply colder again during the late afternoon and early evening. Accumulating snow of between 2-4 inches will be possible in metro Denver by early on Thursday.
So, your drive home Wednesday evening could be slick in spots and your Thursday drive to work will definitely be icy. It stays cold for the rest of the week and into the weekend with daily highs in the chilly 20s.
More accumulating snow arrives late Saturday into Sunday.
