DENVER — It will feel more like winter than fall for mountain communities just west of the foothills.
Snow fell in the mountains for much of the day Friday, while the metro Denver area saw on and off rain.
Between 3 to 6 inches of snow will likely fall on the mountains. As temperatures drop, the snow level could drop to around 8,000 feet.
Saturday morning, some light snow will linger over the north and central mountain areas. Skies in the Metro area will clear Saturday with temperatures in the 60s.
Sunday should be pleasant with temperatures in the mid- to upper-70s for the Broncos game.
