DENVER — Clear skies and calm wind will make Monday morning the coldest of the season for most areas on the Front Range and eastern Plains.

Denver’s low will hit 35 to 38 depending on individual neighborhoods. Those to the north and south of the metro area might be even colder. There is a frost advisory for most areas until 9 a.m. Monday.

Those west of Interstate 25 will want to cover plants to be saved. The frosty temperatures are possible from 1 a.m. through 8 a.m.

It will also mean a chilly start on Monday morning, but dress in layers as the afternoon will warm into the 70s with lots of sunshine.

Sunday night into Monday morning will be the coldest of the week as warmer temperatures will be around through next weekend.
