DENVER -- There was more wind to contend with Monday night, and on Tuesday morning there was some snow during the early commute, as well.

Pinpoint Weather Chief Meteorologist Dave Fraser said light snow was expected to develop overnight and starting falling up and down the Front Range Tuesday morning, and that's exactly what developed.

"Some light accumulation of up to a half or 1 inch is is possible," he said.

A period of less wind and warm weather is finally expected to take over on Wednesday, with highs returning to the 50s.

"We'll dip slightly into the 40s on Thursday," Fraser said. "And, then the 50s return with plenty of sunshine and not a lot of wind right through Sunday,"

And how about that all-important Broncos vs. Patriots AFC Championship game?

"Weather for the game at Mile High looks perfect," Fraser said. "Mainly sunny, light southwest wind and game temps in the 50s."
