MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. — Residents in Manitou Springs prepared for yet another wave of flooding Thursday night, as severe weather moved into southern Colorado.
A Flash Flood Warning was issued for El Paso County, Pueblo County and the Waldo Canyon burn scar area until 1 a.m.
Numerous roads were closed due to flooding conditions, including Highway 24 and many areas were left without power.
Some cars were trapped after hail fell throughout Colorado Springs, and residents were even shoveling the roads, as seen in a photo tweeted by KRDO:

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office reminded residents to stay away from the water’s edge and to seek higher ground as flash flooding was reported near the area at about 9 p.m.
The Red Cross established an evacuation center at the 1st Congregational Church at 103 Pawnee Ave.
The town, hard hit by recent flooding, is now selling bracelets with the words “Manitou Strong & Beautiful,” as a fund-raiser for affected businesses. The bracelets cost $5.
