DENVER -- Greg Durfee was at Denver International Airport to take off for a great cause, the Youth Cancer Baseball Tour where Durfee takes kids with cancer to ballgames across the country.

It's something Durfee has organized for the past 11 years.

“Been a dream of mine ever since 2000 when a pastor friend of mine lost his nephew to childhood cancer," he said.

"It devastated my life and I ended up homeless in Skid Row (Los Angeles). Out of that valley came a desire to do whatever I can to help these kids and their families deal with cancer.”
