NEW YORK -- There still aren't too many Broncos fans in New York City for the Super Bowl, so FOX31 Denver set out to find out which side New Yorkers will be pulling for.
New York City is so big that even the Super Bowl isn't on everyone's radar.
"For football, my favorite team is... Brazil," said cab driver Khuram Butt.
Even if you do follow the NFL in NYC, chances are your team didn't even make the playoffs.
"I like the Giants," said Stace Roberts.
"The Giants," said Anthony Studer.
"My team is the Buffalo Bills, and it's going to be a long time before we're back in the Super Bowl," said Pete Helseth.
But that doesn't mean New Yorkers are bitter about all the visitors about to come their way.
"We're more welcoming than you would think," Helseth said. "It's going to be fun. It will be interesting. The subways, the commutes will be a little bit longer."
"I think people are happy about it," Studer said. "I think people are excited to have it here, you know, it doesn't come here… well… ever."
"It's really fun," Khurman said. "Everybody's excited."
There is one team New Yorkers do seem to be slightly more excited about.
"I think the Broncos," Studer said. "Yeah, I like the Broncos."
"I think Peyton's been a great quarterback and certainly I'd like to see it pay off for him," Helseth said. "And end the dialogue about not being able to win the big one."
"Who am I rooting for? Denver, the Broncos," Roberts said. "They're not my team, but that's who I'm rooting for."
"Just because it's part of you," she said. "I just made the decision now."
