DURHAM, N.C. — Peyton Manning is all business on the field, but he has also managed to retain his good sense of humor.

The Denver Broncos quarterback took part in a voluntary workout at Duke University Wednesday with his new teammate Wes Welker as well as Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker.

Afterward, Manning targeted Decker for an easy laugh, handing the wide receiver what turned out to be a fake invoice. The total balance was a little over $3,200, and included fees for instruction, using the facility and even laundry.

But at least Manning comped the airport shuttle.

Decker tweeted a photo of the invoice as evidence along with a message.

“Nice little practical joke Peyton drew up,” Decker wrote. “I didn’t add it up until after dinner … the tax and facility fee threw me off!”
