DENVER — The Broncos fell to the Houston Texans 19-17 at Broncos Stadium at Mile High on Sunday. With the loss, the Broncos dropped to 3-6 on the season as they head into their bye week.
The game was made especially interesting because it was Demaryius Thomas’ first game since being traded to the Texans on Tuesday. Denver traded Thomas after nearly nine seasons for a fourth round draft pick and a seventh round pick.

On the next drive, the Broncos offense looked complete. Keenum found Matt LaCosse on the play action for a 44-yard gain into Texans territory on the very first play.
Then, Keenum found another tight end, Jeff Heuerman, for a 14-yard gain to the Texans 28-yard line.
Keenum continued to find the tight ends on the drive, hitting Heuerman for another quick first down to the 14-yard line.
From the 14, Booker made up for his previous fumble as he ran it into the end zone to bring the Broncos back within 3.
