Broncos’ Von Miller voted ESPN’s Midseason Defensive Player of the Year

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Broncos linebacker Von Miller was voted the Midseason Defensive Player of the Year by ESPN.

Trey Wingo hosted the 2016 Midseason Award Show, which allows fans to pick the winner of each category.

Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott won three categories:  Midseason MVP,  Midseason Offensive Player of the Year (non-quarterback) and Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Some of the other winners include: Patriots coach Bill Belichick (Midseason Coach of the Year), Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (Midseason Comeback Player of the Year) and A.J. Green’s Hail Mary catch against the Browns (Midseason Play of the Year).
