DENVER — The Denver Broncos are going high-tech to keep up with their changing playbook now that Peyton Manning is on board.
This season they are becoming just one of three teams in the NFL to toss aside traditional paper playbooks in favor of iPads.
When coach John Fox wants to make a change during a meeting, he just hits a button and it’s instantly in the tablets of all the players and coaches.
But, the league is very protective of the actual game on the field and will not allow iPads on the sidelines.
The only other teams that use iPads are Baltimore and Tampa Bay.
