CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is doing something amazing for the families of the five people who were shot and killed last week.

Manning visited the Naval Marine Corps Reserve Center on Saturday where four Marines and a Navy sailor were killed by a shooter.  The gunman was shot and killed after the attack.

Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., announced Tuesday that Manning will contribute to a fund for the families of those who lost their lives. In fact, the quarterback is lending his name to the contribution effort.

Manning played his college football at the University of Tennessee. He lives part of the year in Chattanooga.
