DENVER — The Broncos arrived in Northern California on Sunday afternoon, one week before meeting the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50.
United got in on the celebration, too, with a new paint job for the team’s plane.
There was a big send-off from Dove Valley at 12:30 p.m. as Broncos players and staff headed to the airport.

The team departed Denver International Airport at 1:44 p.m. en route to San Jose, Calif. Unlike the Panthers in their generic charter, the Broncos flew in a “customized” United 767.
