Despite a dreadful start to the 2012 season, Colorado Rockies manager Jim Tracy and general manager Dan O’Dowd will not be fired, The Denver Post reported Tuesday.

“I have had people get in my face and say, ‘You’ve got to do this and do that.’ And believe me, I understand the fans’ frustration,” Rockies owner Dick Monfort told The Post.  “If this is anybody’s fault, it’s mine.”

The Rockies (15-26) have lost 14 of their last 17 games and are currently in last place in the National League West, percentage points behind the San Diego Padres (16-27).
