DENVER — Coors Filed will undergo an extensive redesign to the upper rightfield seating area to include a rooftop patio.
“We are always striving to improve the entire experience at Coors Field,” said Rockies Owner, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dick Monfort. “With that spirit in mind, it is exciting to add to our lower downtown ballpark the largest Rooftop Deck in sports, featuring two levels with more than 38,000 square feet.”
The deck will offer a panoramic view of the Front Range and downtown Denver.
It will feature a bar that is 52 feet 80 inches long and will serve 52 different beers on tap. A new restaurant called CHUBurger will feature burgers with beef raised from a Longmont farm.
The project will also include a VIP Cabanna Terrace with an urban garden setting that includes a fireplace, rooftop lights and pregame entertainment.
The Rockies have been at Coors Field for 19 years.
