DENVER --  When the Colorado Christian University women’s basketball team lost its team manager Kaylee McBeth to a heart tumor, the basketball family crumbled.

An energetic, fun-loving force who had to stop playing basketball in high school because of her tumor, Kaylee found a way to always bring a smile to the team she was working with.

Five days after she died, the Cougars were back on the court. Now the CCU women’s team is being honored at the Women’s Final Four for coming together as a team in the midst of tragedy.
