COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A severe thunderstorm dumped an incredible amount of hail and rain on northern Colorado Springs Thursday afternoon.

The cloudburst ended up shutting down northbound I-25 in the area of Woodman while snowplows were called to clear the hail off the highway. Long lines of cars were just sitting on the Interstate, not moving.
