DENVER — No teenage girl should have to go without a beautiful prom dress. That’s why the prom dress exchange invites metro area girls to come pick from their racks of 2,000 new and used dresses.
They can also choose accessories, win manicures, hairstyling or dinner for the big event. The exchange even has a seamstress for quick alterations. Last year’s event outfitted more than 350 students.
The prom dress exchange is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Tebo Store Fixtures on Logan, across from the Merchandise Mart in Denver.
Those who can afford it are asked to make a $10 donation, but there are also scholarships for those who can’t.
