DENVER — Early childhood and health advocates are set to gather at the Colorado State Capital Thursday, announced the Colorado’s Children Campaign.

Parents, services providers and many more will congregate at the Denver Art Museum and State Capital for the 2014 Speak Up for Kids, looking at the latest issues and concerns regarding policy making impacting young children, said the childhood advocacy group in a release.

The event, which is co-hosted by the Children’s Hospital Colorado, Colorado Children’s Campaign, Clayton Early Learning and Executives Partnering to Invest in Children, is the third annual one and hopes to attract more that 175 Colorado parents and child advocates this year, said CCC.

CCC added that event speakers include Democratic Rep. Crisanta Duran and Republican Rep. Cheri Gerou.
