Chocolate Sunflower Squares

serves 8-10

Ingredients

filling:

1/2 cup puffed millet

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup sunflower butter (no added sugar)

1/4 cup coconut oil

2 Tbl maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla

pinch sea salt

Chocolate topping:

2 Tbl coconut oil, melted

2 Tbl maple syrup

2 Tbl cocoa powder (or cacao)

pinch sea salt

Garnish:

Bee pollen and Finishing salt (Maldon and Celtic are my favorites)

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl add all the filling ingredients and stir until well-combined. Pour into a parchment lined container and pat down to an even layer.
  2. In a small bowl, add all the topping ingredients and whisk well until well-combined. 3. Drizzle chocolate over the millet mix. Garnish with Bee Pollen and finishing salt. Place in the refrigerator for 45 minutes and remove when ready to eat. Enjoy!
