How to make Margaritas!

Lisa Hives from Arta Tequila shows us how to make some tasty drinks for Cinco de Mayo.

Arta Sunrise

 

1.5 oz Arta Silver

¾ c fresh orange juice

1.5 oz. grenadine syrup

 

Shake the tequila and orange juice together in a shaker.   Fill a glass with ice and pour in orange juice mixture.  Slowly pour in grenadine and allow it to settle to the bottom.  Garnish with orange slice & maraschino cherry.

 

 

 

Arta Mojito

 

2 lime wedges

3 mint leaves

2 oz Arta Reposado Tequila

1 oz simple syrup

1 oz club soda

Muddle limes and mint in glass. Add remaining ingredients to a shaker full of ice.  Serve in a rocks glass, garnish with mint and lime.

 

 

 

 

Mango Margarita (on the rocks or blended)

2 oz Arta Silver Tequila

1 oz. orange flavored liquor (triple sec)

 1/3c.  mango nectar

1 oz. simple syrup

1.5 oz lime juice

lime wedges

Rim a margarita glass with sugar.  Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker full of ice. Strain into glass. Squeeze one lime wedge on top of drink. Garnish with a fresh lime.
