Woman hospitalized after stabbing in Denver; suspect in custody

DENVER — Officers are investigating a stabbing that sent one woman to the hospital Saturday afternoon.

Denver Police tweeted that officers were responding to a stabbing in the 1200 block of West 9th Avenue just after 2 p.m.

Officers later said that a female victim was rushed to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The woman, whose identity has not been released, was later discharged from the hospital.

Denver police said that a male suspect is in custody. The relationship between the two involved is unknown at this time.
