WB Colfax closed at Race after car hits pedestrian, DPD says

DENVER — A pedestrian was seriously hurt after they were hit by a car near E. Colfax Avenue and Race Street Monday afternoon.

Denver police said in a tweet that the westbound lanes of Colfax were closed after the incident.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, police said.

No estimate for when Colfax will reopen has been given. Alternative routes include taking York Street to East 13th Avenue.
