DENVER -- Firefighters from Aurora and Denver responded to a warehouse fire in northeast Denver Tuesday afternoon.

The fire was at a building at 3860 Revere Street, near where Interstate 70 meets Interstate 225, and started around 1:40 p.m.

UPDATE: Flames started back up around 9:30 p.m., firefighters still on the scene.

A carpet recycling business called iCarpets Inc. is registered at that address.  The owners of the business said the blaze was started by a small electrical that quickly got out of hand.

No injuries were reported. The building appeared to be a complete loss.

Thick black smoke from the fire could be seen for miles around.

No information about the fire has yet been released by the Denver Fire Department.

Around 75 firefighters were on the scene and Assistant Fire Chief Mark Ruzycki tweeted a photo close to the building showing flames and smoke.

Firefighters had to work in temperatures around 0 degrees, which complicated their efforts.

Denver Police tweeted 39th Avenue from Peoria to Salem was closed.
