Von Miller, former CU track athlete Emma Coburn to appear in ESPN ‘Body Issue’

BRISTOL, Conn. — Broncos linebacker and Super Bowl 50 MVP and former University of Colorado track athlete Emma Coburn will be featured in ESPN The Magazine’s “Body Issue,” it was announced Tuesday.

In all, 19 athletes — 10 men and nine women — will shed their clothes for the eighth annual issue.

Miller is holding out from the Broncos as he looks for a long-term contract. Coburn won three NCAA titles — twice in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and one in the indoor mile — while at CU. She also competed in the 2012 summer Olympics.

Other athletes include Nathan Adrian (Olympic swimming), Jake Arrieta (baseball), Antonio Brown (NFL), Courtney Conlogue (surfing), Elena Delle Donne (WNBA), Ryan Dungey (motocross), Adeline Gray (Olympic wrestling), Greg Louganis (Olympic diving), Conor McGregor (UFC), Chris Mosier (duathlon), Nzingha Prescod (Olympic fencing), Christen Press (soccer), April Ross (Olympic beach volleyball), Allysa Seely (paratriathlete), Claressa Shields (Olympic boxing), Dwyane Wade (NBA) and Vince Wilford (NFL).

The issue will be posted online July 6 and the magazine will hit newsstands on July 8.
