McALESTER, Okla. — A police officer was suspended after he used a taser on a handcuffed female prisoner inside the police station.
The incident was caught on camera which you can watch in the story above.
You see the prisoner with her hands cuffed behind her up on a counter. She was in police custody for public intoxication.
It looks like she’s mouthing off. But then you can see her spit in the face of one of the officers. He reacts by taking out his taser and firing it into the woman’s chest.
An investigation led to a 10-day suspension without pay for the officer and a requirement that he receive more training.
