LONDON — Police in the U.K. are on the lookout for a man who brutally and randomly assaulted a teen girl in London last week.
The entire blindsided attack was caught on CCTV and released by Metropolitan Police on Wednesday.
The teenager who fell victim to the assault is a 16-year-old student from east London. She was walking near her home around on Nov. 13 when the man slunk up behind her and hit her with a wild, but effective punch on the right side of the head.
The girl, who has asked that her identity be kept private, crumbled to the ground and was seen lying motionless as the man jogged away. She told the Newham Recorder that the only thing she remember is waking up in an ambulance.
“It was really bad,” she told the newspaper. “I had a migraine, my chin was grazed and sore, my teeth were hurting because they were chipped and I couldn’t talk.
“I hope he does get caught so he doesn’t do it again to another person. I hope I am his last victim.”
