COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A thief made off with a dumpster from a Colorado Springs restaurant this week. What kind of bandit would steal a bunch of garbage, you ask? A hairy one who walks on all fours.

Edleweiss Restaurant, located just off South Nevada Avenue in the southern part of the city, posted a video of a bear jumping up on its hind legs and sniffing the dumpster before slowly, and awkwardly rolling it out of sight.

“Intruder stealing the dumpster last night,” Edleweiss wrote under the surveillance video on its Facebook page. “WOW. This must be the Mama.”

According to Edleweiss, the dumpster was stolen on Tuesday night. The restaurant later posted on its Facebook page that the bear wheeled the dumpster into the parking lot and then tipped it over before sauntering away from the scene.
