DENVER -- Vice President Joe Biden will visit Denver on Tuesday to talk jobs and college at the Advanced Manufacturing Center at the Community College of Denver.

A round table discussion is set to start just after 2 p.m. The focal point according to the school's administration is to help more Americans go to college and the role community colleges and employers can play in helping people get the skills they need to succeed in the workforce.

According to the school, over the next decade, 3.5 million manufacturing jobs likely will need to be filled and the skills gap will leave a hole of 2 million of those jobs going unfilled.

The vice president's visit is closed to the public and is by invitation only.
