— North Metro Fire (@NMFirePIO) September 24, 2014Officials say the man, a construction worker, was walking to his truck when it suddenly exploded. The man told authorities he had a gas tank stored inside the truck. He was later discharged from the hospital. At least two other vehicles were damaged in the explosion, and there was debris littered on the street and driveway. There was superficial damage to six homes but there were no structural issues, officials said. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.
