DENVER — The University of Denver issued a crime alert Thursday after reports of three possible sexual assaults during the last two weeks.

“One of these assaults suggests the involvement of date rape drugs. All three cases are currently being investigated by the University of Denver,” according to the crime alert.

The Department of Campus Safety did not provide any other details about any of the cases that are under investigation other than the incidents happened at “residences/apartments surrounding campus.”

“Campus Safety urges the DU community to be alert to the possibility of date rape drugs and take steps to protect themselves,” the alert says.
