Jennifer Broome explores the beauty of the State Capitol Rotunda.
The Rotunda in the Colorado State Capitol is one of the most exquisite rooms in the table. The murals on the wall tell a story and the view looking up into the Dome is stunning. Colorado has the only state capitol in the country that uses geothermal heating and cooling. Colorado was the first state capitol building in the country to earn a LEED designation for energy efficiency.
It is free to visit the Colorado State Capitol and the Historical, Mr. Brown’s Attic/Dome Walk, and Legislative Tours are free too. The tour guides are volunteers.
