Spring is here but there is still some winter fun in Estes Park, where they have about 80-88 more days of winter than Denver.  From snowshoeing to heading out a trail ride, it’s a great time of year to hit the trail in Estes Park.  There are plenty of trails like the Homer Rouse Trail to go on a snowshoe adventure with your pooch.  Pets are allowed in Rocky Mountain National Park but only in areas accessible by cars.  Dogs are not allowed on trails or in the backcountry of the Park.

You can take a trail ride right from town with Sombrero Ranch.  They offer one, two, and three hour rides this time of year.  Trail rides start at $35 for the one hour ride.
