Two-vehicle crash involving children closes Commerce City intersection

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — A two-vehicle accident involving children closed an intersection on Monday afternoon, the Commerce City Police Department.

Crews responded to the intersection of Highway 2 and East 96th Avenue about noon.

Two ambulances transported an unknown number of injured victims to hospitals.

The Colorado State Patrol is leading the investigation of the cause of the crash with assistance from Commerce City police.
