DENVER — A pair of Adams County Sheriff’s deputies were badly hurt in a patrol vehicle crash early Sunday morning, ACSO reported.
The two were patrolling in the area of eastbound Interstate 76 and northbound Interstate 25 about 1 a.m. when their vehicle crashed, police said.
The deputies were en route to a report of a dangerous driver at the time of the crash, police said.
The deputies remained in the hospital Sunday afternoon, and at least one had undergone surgery.
A ramp leading from I-25 to I-76 was closed for at least three hours as a result of the crash.
ACSO did not release the cause of the crash, or the unnamed deputies’ condition, other than to say they remained alive in the hospital.
The 2 deputies involved in a crash this am are still in the hospital. One of them is just finishing up surgery. Keep them in your thoughts.
