Two killed, several injured in single-car rollover in Weld County

HUDSON, Colo. — A single-car rollover crash killed two people and injured several others in Weld County on Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened on Weld County Road 49 and Interstate 76 in the town of Hudson just after 5 p.m., the Colorado State Patrol said.

Troopers said a 2001 Ford SUV rolled over and two of the passengers died instantly. Two were transported to a hospital by a medical helicopter and others were transported by ambulance.

Westbound I-76 was closed as the cause of the crash was investigated.

The ages of the passengers were not released.
