Two boys missing from hunting party found safe

DENVER — Two boys missing on a hunting trip near the Crown Point Road area of Roosevelt National Forest have been found, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office announced Sunday afternoon.

The boys, 11 and 12, had been hunting small game with a group from the Larimer County area, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The two were reported missing about 8:15 a.m. Sunday after having been missing overnight.

The two carried with .22-caliber rifles, water and food, police said.
