Two arrested, one on loose after Fort Collins home invasion robbery

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Two men were arrested and another is still on the loose after a home invasion robbery in Fort Collins on Monday night, Fort Collins Police Services said.

The incident happened in the 800 block of West Laurel Street near Colorado State University just before 9 p.m. when three men entered the home brandishing baseball bats.

One of the residents was taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries, then released.

One of the suspects, Dillon Cosgrove, 21, also was treated for minor injuries at a hospital. After being released, he was arrested and booked into the Larimer County Jail.

The other two suspects fled on foot. Spencer Crocker, 18, was apprehended a short distance away by Fort Collins Police and also booked into the Larimer County Jail. Cosgrove and Crocker where charged with aggravated robbery, burglary and theft.

The third suspect is still being sought. He’s described as a male, about 6-foot-1 who was wearing a mask and a red hoodie.
