A woman taking a weekend trip in Utah had to stop her travels on the road to give birth to twins.
Lynette Hales delivered her babies on the side of a highway.
She woke up Sunday with contractions and bleeding. Her friend tried to rush her to the hospital, but the babies wouldn’t wait.
Hales’ friend pulled over, and mom went into labor. The twin boys were born two months early. “And I`m really worried because I`m only 30 weeks along,” Hales said. “The most important thing is I`ve got two beautiful babies that are alive and appear to be healthy.”
The twins, J.J. and A.J. weighed in at three pounds each. They’re doing well in the hospital.
