DENVER -- Oh, to feel like a kid again. That magical time in our lives. But there's no going back.

Or is there?

The brand new exhibit at History Colorado Center has a time machine that will send you back. Actually, it has over 400 time machines -- the toys of our youth.

Howdy Doody, GI Joe, Barbie and Ken ... the most popular toys of the day are on display.

But a word of caution, these old toys are like long, lost friends you thought you'd never see again.

Senior Exhibit Developer at History Colorado Center Shannon Voirol was herself taken aback when she spotted the movable dolls of the West Family that she played with as a little girl. "It was sort of like a psychedelic experience, like I totally remember her coffee pot, I remember her little dress, her kicky legs..." as she refers to the matriarch of the family.

Kids may like the event, after all it is about toys. But who's kidding who. This show is for adults who want to feel like a kid again.
