MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — A Baltimore mother’s Facebook post about her daughter and a young stranger she met on a beach has quickly gone viral.
Ayanna Toye Barrows was walking along Myrtle Beach on Tuesday with her daughter when a sweet little boy came up to them.
Barrows said the boy shared a shark tooth around his neck and said his name.
“They part ways while saying goodbye, walking in the opposite direction” Barrows said.
A few minutes later, the boy came running back, yelling out Barrows’ daughter’s name.
“She turns around and is greeted by his smile. So they share a few words, mainly about his super cool shark’s tooth that apparently gave him powers,” Barrows said.
Barrows said she asked the boy’s mother for permission to take a beautiful photo of the kids.
“This is a moment that we humans understand as just simply seeing no color lines, no judgment, no race, no hate, no shades. It’s just pure … two kids meeting on a sunset walk without a care in the world … all they saw was each other.
“The world would be a much better place if we acted like these two kids.”
