LOVELAND, Colo. — A moose was a little lost and tried to cross Interstate 25 and Highway 34 on Sunday morning.
The moose was sighted by Colorado State Patrol officers in Larimer County around 8:30 a.m. near mile markers 256 and 257 on I-25.
Department of Wildlife officials arrived on scene shortly thereafter to assist.
After three hours, the moose was tranquilized and taken by Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials back to the mountains.
