ENGLEWOOD, Fla. — It’s high season for golf in Florida, what with people in northern climes escaping the cold and snow for warmth and sunshine.
But at Myakka Pines Golf Club over the weekend, one round was interrupted by a huge alligator that wandered onto a green.
Myakka Pines Golf Club described the beast as a “dinosaur looking reptile.”
Some have said the picture is fake, but Myakka Pines Golf Club took to Facebook on Wednesday to say the picture is real.
“Nope! We just grow ’em big in these parts!!” the Facebook post said.
