DENVER — A haunted house in Pennsylvania is hoping it’s found a new way to lay bare horror fans’ deepest fears.

The Unknown haunted house will offer “The Naked and Scared Challenge” when it opens this week. Available only to adults and only after midnight, participants will get naked in a “semi-private” area before braving the haunted house alongside other naked strangers. Participants can also opt to keep their underwear on.

“For the first time ever you can now experience the Unknown Haunted House totally naked!” the company said in a relese. “See if you have gymnophobia- the fear of being nude.”

The experience (notably not offered on Sundays) has nothing to do with exhibitionism, the company says on its website.

“Shocktoberfest has created this experience so their customers can explore a new level of fear,” a statement reads. “This is about fear and pushing oneself out of their comfort zone. This is not about sex. No sexual misconduct, inappropriate or disrespectful behavior will be tolerated.”
