SAN FRANCISCO — A young cancer survivor had the honor of throwing out the first pitch for the San Francisco Giants on the team’s Opening Day at AT&T Park.

Miles Scott, known to many as San Francisco’s BatKid, arrived at the baseball field in typical superhero fashion — he was accompanied by none other than Batman himself, and the two drove onto the field in a Batman-emblazoned Lamborghini.

Giants’ Matt Cain met BatKid to escort him to the mound. The baseball pro then caught the first pitch and posed for pictures with his young fan.
