SYRACUSE, N.Y. — For one New York man, the presidential election might have felt like a fate worse than death.

John J. Considine, Jr.’s obituary noted that he died on Sunday, “narrowly escaping the 2016 election.”

Considine definitely lived an interesting life. He served in the U.S. Army as a special agent in the 66th Counter Intelligence Corps in western Germany.

The obituary said Considine was survived by many family members, friends and “unnamed co-conspirators whom he loved.”

It’s not clear who authored the obituary, but we’re hoping  Considine got the last laugh.

The obituary appeared in the Democrat & Chronicle.
