DENVER — Three Colorado cities made the list of best large cities to live in, according to WalletHub. Denver, Colorado Springs and Aurora made the top 20.
WalletHub compared the 62 largest cities in the U.S. and ranked them using 31 metrics, including measures of livability, health- and education-system quality, economic growth and tax burden.
While Denver and Colorado Springs made the top five, Aurora came in at No. 14.
The best big cities to live in 2016, according to WalletHub:
- San Francisco
- Raleigh, N.C.
- Colorado Springs, Colo.
- San Jose, Calif.
- Austin, Texas
- San Diego
Colorado Springs came in at No. 3 on the list of best cities to be a driver. However, Aurora came in at No. 60 ranking as one of the worst for recreation, according to WalletHub.
Denver made the top five in the job category, according to the website, while Colorado Springs also ranked well when it came to household income adjusted by the cost of living.
