DENVER — Celebrating all things pop culture is what’s happening this weekend at the Colorado Convention Center. Denver ComicCon kicked off Friday night.

The massive convention features all of the biggest names in the ComicCon business, from comic book authors to illustrators and even TV stars like Lou Ferrigno, aka the Incredible Hulk.

And if comics aren’t you’re thing, ComicCon organizers say the convention is really all about taking pride in American culture and entertainment. “Whether we admit it or not, everyone is a fan of pop culture. We all watch TV, we watch films, we read comic books, we read books.”

Organizers expect over 100,000 visitors to attend the weekend-long show, pulling in around $2 million. It runs through Monday.
