Teen killed in skiing accident at Copper Mountain

SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. – A 15-year-old died from injuries sustained in a skiing accident Sunday afternoon.

Witnesses say Hannah Randolph of Wellesley, Mass. was wearing a helmet when she hit a tree on the expert CDL trail at about 1:45 p.m.

She was given advance life support by responders and transported to Copper Medical Clinic where she was pronounced dead, Summit County Deputy Coroner Maggie Cox said in a statement.
