SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Most of the time, when a fans rushes the field or court at a sporting event, they don’t get much airtime.

That wasn’t the case for the man who ran onto the field during the “Monday Night Football” game between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams at Levi’s Stadium.

That’s thanks to a fantastic call from Westwood One radio announcer Kevin Harlan.

Harlan was enthusiastic as the fan ran onto the field during the fourth quarter, calling his moves like he would for a long touchdown run.

Harlan finished with “they tackle him at the 40-yard line” when security nabbed the man.

Harlan said it was “the most exciting thing to happen tonight” in the drab game, which the 49ers won, 28-0.
